Urgent Care

Daytime and Emergency Services

Animal Hospital, Inc. is one of the few veterinary facilities that can accept urgent medical conditions during the day. We pride ourselves in working on seriously ill patients whether we have an opening or not. Our staff is well trained to deal with urgent care cases, and our multi-doctor practice can handle these situations with minimal disruption to our regularly scheduled appointments.

After hours, however, we do not have an overnight staff. Severe injuries or illnesses that require critical care throughout the night, emergency surgery, or a blood transfusion will be referred to an emergency pet clinic in our area. For current clients, we do have a doctor available for phone consultations from closing time until 10pm, and all day on Sundays and holidays. In the morning, we are able to accept transfers from the emergency clinics after 7:30 AM.

Please call us ahead if you need to come in for a daytime urgent care situation so we can prepare for your arrival. If you have a critical situation after we are closed that involves: profuse bleeding, trauma from a motor vehicle, seizures that last more than 5 minutes or are repeated, obvious fractured bones, deep wounds, poisoning, bloated abdomen, or difficulty breathing you should proceed immediately to an emergency clinic.
