Spay/Neuter

Spaying or neutering your pet is when the animal is sterilized, and therefore no longer able to reproduce. There are many reasons why this is done. It is unfortunate, but there are many homeless pets, sitting in shelters, or even running around cities and towns, without anyone to care for them and love them. Spaying and neutering pets can prevent pets from having unwanted litters that, in some unfortunate cases, may result in pet abandonment. Spaying and neutering pets can also reduce or eliminate the risk of reproductive system cancers or infections. Think carefully about having your pet spayed or neutered. It can be a big decision to make, so each pet owner should decide what is best for them and their pet or pets.
