Deluxe Boarding

Pets are like our children. We feed, nurture & lavish attention on them. Our qualified pet care representatives provide the cuddling, out-door activity time, brushing & bathing in your absence. Animal Hospital Inc., boards dogs, cats, domesticated pocket pets, reptiles & birds. We can board more than 50 animals in our climate controlled facility. We recommend making reservations in advance, especially for holidays. There are occasions where we require you to bring a cage and/or food. Please call our Boarding and Grooming Reservation Desk at (440) 946-2802 for current availability and daily rates. Boarding Policies of Animal Hospital Inc.

NO POISONOUS REPTILES. We reserve the right to refuse the boarding of any animal that places other pets or staff members at risk of injury or illness.

50% DEPOSIT is required at time of drop off for first-time clients boarding during off-season.  For those new clients making phone reservations during peak season, deposit by credit card is required at the time the reservation is made. The deposit will be applied toward the boarding fee, but is not refundable unless a reasonable attempt was made by the client to cancel reservations at least 24 hours beforehand.

VACCINES REQUIRED. All boarding pets must be current within the last 12 months or their vaccinations, Including Bordetella for dogs. In order to provide the utmost protection, all vaccinations need to be in
your pet’s system at least one week prior to boarding.  Confirmation of vaccinations is required from your regular veterinarian either in writing, fax, or telephone.

INTESTINAL PARASITE SCREENING REQUIRED. In order to protect other animals at Animal Hospital, a fecal exam will be performed at the owner’s expense if one has not been done within the last year. If we see parasites, we reserve the right to de-worm your pet, again at your expense.

PERSONAL ITEMS. We maintain a plentiful supply of everything your pet needs during his/her stay with us. If you pet has a favorite toy, feel free to check with our staff to determine if the toy or bone meets our safety requirements

MEDICATIONS. We welcome pets with special medical needs. There is an extra charge to administer medication. If your pet is diabetic and requires insulin injections, special trips to the hospital by a doctor or technician are charged extra. You may request a quote from our staff. Please bring all medication in its original bottle.

FOOD. We feed Hill’s Sensitive Stomach Diet to our canine pets and Hill’s Adult Maintenance to felines. If you choose to bring food from home, bring an adequate supply for your pet’s entire stay. Mark the container with your pet’s name and feeding instructions.

CHECK OUT. Check out is at 11:00 AM. There is no extra charge for staying until we close if your pet is being bathed or groomed on the day of checkout. Please make arrangements for these services prior to boarding.  Please check your pet prior to leaving. Bring any problem to our attention you feel may be related to his/her stay. Our medical staff can treat boarding-related problems quickly and usually at no charge. Sunday check-out must be pre-arranged through our Hospitality Coordinator.

EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBERS. Owners are required to leave an emergency phone number.  If we are unable to reach the responsible party after reasonable attempts have been made, we will treat your pet at your expense.  No charges for treatment will incur if symptoms are stress-induced or diet change-induced diarrhea.
